The
Bio-Gen Guatemala Project was submitted to
the USIJI on June 1997. Due to hurricane
"Mitch" the project was not
built due to the lack of infrastructure in
the region. Various transmission lines
were destroyed because of the unfortunate
event. Further, Nations Energy Corporation
closed their offices and stopped
operating. It is possible that the
host-country project participants will
reinitiate their efforts to construct the
project. |
