The
Bio-Gen Nicaragua Project was submitted to
the USIJI on June 1997. Due to hurricane
"Mitch" the project was not
built given the lack of infrastructure in
the region, and damage to various
transmission lines. Further, Nations
Energy Corporation closed their offices
and stopped operating. It is possible that
the host-country project participants will
reinitiate their efforts to construct the
project with a new investment partner. |
