The
Bio-Gen Biomass Power Generation Project,
Phase II in Honduras was accredited by the
USIJI in December, 1996. Due to
"Hurricane Mitch", the project
was not built given the lack of
infrastructure in the region, and damage
to various transmission lines. Further,
Nations Energy Corporation closed their
offices and stopped operating. It is
possible that the host-country project
participants will reinitiate their efforts
to construct the project. |
